Featuring the Calgary Stampede

Day 1 

• Fly to Calgary
• Best Western Downtown Suites Hotel

Today, we will fly to Calgary in the Canadian Province of Alberta. upon arrival in the Stampede City, we will transfer to our hotel in downtown Calgary. 

Day 2 

• Continental Breakfast, Lunch
• City Tour
• Chuckwagon Races

Today, we will take a tour of this exciting city including a visit to the Devonian Gardens.

Later this evening, we'll attend the wolrd famous Calgary Stampede and the exciting Chuckwagon Races and Outdoor Stage Spectacular! The brilliant fireworks finale will cap this memorable day of fun and frivolity.

Day 3 

• Continental Breakfast
• Calgary Stampede Rodeo
• Tour to Banff
• Bow View Lodge

Today, you can let your hair down and "whoop it up" as we return to the famous Calgary Stampede. We have reserved seats at the finals of the Rodeo this afternoon. The rest of the day is yours to explore the many interesting exhibits, show barns, casino, and midway of this great event.

Afterwards, our Canadian Rockies adventure will begin as we tour to Banff.

Day 4

• Continental Breakfast, Lunch at Banff Springs Hotel
• Banff area tour

Today, we visit Banff National Park, often proclaimed to be Canada's "Crown Jewel."  We will tour the areas of the city of Banff including Tunnel Mountain, Lake Minnewanka, Bow Falls and the Bow River Valley.  Lunch today will be at the elegant Banff Springs Hotel.

After lunch, we will take the road up to Mt. Norquay, where we view the pristine panorama of this lovely area.  Don't forget your cameras!  The rest of the day will be yours to visit the many shops and museums in Banff.

Day 5

• Breakfast, Lunch
• Canadian Rockies Tour to the Columbia Icefields

We will take an unforgettable scenic journey today into the Canadian Rockies.  The highlight of the day will be the Columbia Icefields and the Athabasca Glacier, where we will take a "Snocoach" tour on the glacier, the largest body of ice south of the Arctic Circle.  Along the way, we'll stop for pictures at Peyto Lake, Bow Lake and the Bow Glacier, and, time permitting, a number of other wonderful places.  This will truly be an experience that you'll never forget!!!

Day 6

• Breakfast, Lunch at the Chateau Lake Louise
• Tour to Lake Louise, Moraine Lake & Johnston Canyon

We will first tour today to lovely Lake Louise, where we'll enjoy their world famous fabulous luncheon feast.  Then it's off to scenic Moraine Lake and inspiring Johnston Canyon.  Today will be a gourmet's and shutterbug's delight!

Day 7

• Breakfast
• Fly Home

We will reluctantly leave Canada today as we fly home with many fond memories of the Canadian Rockies and the Calgary Stampede.
