Day 1

  • Fly to Buffalo
  • Tour to Niagara Falls
  • Comfort Inn - "The Pointe"

We begin our tour as we fly to Buffalo, New York. Upon arrival in Buffalo, we will tour to picturesque Niagara Falls where we will spend the evening.

 

Day 2

  • Continental Breakfast, Dinner
  • Prospect Point Observation Tower
  • Maid of the Mist Cruise
  • Tour to Rochester
  • Visit Susan B. Anthony House
  • Quality Inn Hotel

This morning, we'll enjoy the scenic panorama of the famous "Falls" from the Prospect Point Observation Tower. Later, we'll embark on the famous Maid of the Mist cruise. Next, it’s on to the Canadian side for some more spectacular views of the "Falls." This afternoon, we'll return to New York for our short drive to Rochester, where we will tour the home of Susan B. Anthony, one of America's great Civil Rights leaders and suffragette.

 

Day 3

  • Breakfast
  • George Eastman House & Museum
  • Tour to Ottawa
  • Crowne Plaza Hotel

This morning, we'll visit the 50 room George Eastman Mansion, Gardens, and the wonderful International Museum of Photography and Film. Later, we'll continue through upstate New York to the Canadian Border for our short drive to Canada's capital city of Ottawa.

 

Day 4

  • City Tour of Ottawa
  • Via Rail Tour to Montreal
  • Hotel Les Suites Labelle

We will tour Canada's capital city this morning as we view the Gothic-style Parliament Building and the museums and theatres of this lovely cosmopolitan city.  Later, we will tour the Canadian countryside as we travel by Via Rail to the world renowned French city of Montreal.

 

Day 5

  • Breakfast
  • City Tour of Montreal

Today, we will go on a most interesting tour of this quaint French speaking city. Your tour will introduce you to this delightful city as you take in the many points of interests, including a tour of Notre Dame Church, the shopping and financial districts, Old Montreal, the French Quarter, the outside view of the Olympic City, McGill University and a view from an observation point on top of Mt. Royal.

 

Day 6

  • Breakfast
  • Tour to Quebec
  • City Tour of Quebec
  • Best Western Centre-ville

Today, we will tour to the quaint city of Quebec along the beautiful St. Lawrence River.  Enroute, we'll stop at lovely Cap-de-la-Madeline. Quebec first settled in 1608 and has maintained its French Heritage ever since. Key points of interest on our city tour will include Old Quebec, Place d'Armes, Place Royale, the fortification's the narrow streets, the Plains of Abraham, and Parliament Hill. Later, you'll have time to stroll around the old walled town. Next, it's on to historic St. Anne de Beaupre, the destination of thousands of pilgrims over the years.

 

Day 7

  • Tour to Lake George, N. Y
  • Wingate By Wyndham Hotel
  • Dinner

You will reluctantly say "AU REVOIR" to this beautiful city this morning. We will tour the Quebec countryside as we return to the United States near Lake Champlain, which we will view before to the gorgeous Adirondack Mountains and Lake George. A visual highlight of our day will be the spectacular Ausable Chasm.

 

 

Day 8

  • Breakfast, Dinner
  • Tour to Copperstown
  • Holiday Inn - Waterloo                                           

We'll continue on our tour through the Adirondacks today as we head to Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. Copperstown was home to James Fennimore Cooper and looks like a beautiful movie set.

 

Day 9

  • Continental Breakfast
  • William H. Seward Home
  • Fly Home

We'll tour more of the Finger Lakes area of upstate New York, this morning, as we visit the William H. Seward House in Auburn and the Women's Rights National Historical Park in gorgeous Seneca Falls. You'll certainly be returning home, today, with many very fond memories of your beautiful excursion to Niagara Falls, Lake George, the Adirondacks, and French Canada!
