Itinerary

Day 1  

• Tour to Mammoth Lakes
• Shilo Inn
• Welcome Dinner

We will depart Southern California today on our scenic tour to the High Sierras. We will travel along the eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada, where much of the scenery was created by either volcanoes or glaciers, to beautiful Mammoth Lakes. Our hotel is the Mammoth Mountain Inn.

Day 2  

• Continental Breakfast, Dinner
• Mammoth Lakes Area Tour

Today, we'll see some of the most spectacular scenery in California as we view Mammoth Lakes, the Devil's Postpile National Monument, June Lake Loop, Mono Lake, and the Inyo National Forest.

Day 3  

• Continental Breakfast, Dinner
• Yosemite Tour
• Watertree Inn

Today we will travel through one of America's finest parks, Yosemite. We'll see waterfalls, pinnacles, and the tremendous Half Dome, as well as other awesome sights.

Day 4  

• Continental Breakfast, Dinner
• Sequoia National Park

Today, we'll travel through the Sequoia National Park where one of the trees, General Sherman, is 3500 years old, 272 feet high, and 101.6 feet around!!! Mt. Whitney the tallest mountain in the "lower 48" states is a big feature in this lovely park.

Day 5  

• Continental Breakfast
• Tour Home

We will return home today through the lush San Joaquin Valley with many fond memories of the Great Parks, Lakes, and Canyons of California!!!
