Today, we will
fly to Memphis, Tennessee with the Mississippi at her door, cotton
in her marts, and the blues in her heart.

City
Tour of Memphis
We begin
today with a most interesting tour of this unique city, which is
steeped in the rich traditions of the past. You will see the Beale
Street Blues District, birthplace of the Blues, Cotton Row, home of
the Cotton Exchange, St. Judes, the world renown Children's Research
Hospital and Elvis Presley Plaza. You will also witness the Parade
of the Ducks at the elegant Peabody Hotel.
Then it's on to
Graceland, Elvis' famous palatial home. You'll marvel at the Presley
memorabilia as you tour his house.
Finally, we
will visit Mud Island, dedicated to the Mississippi River, past,
present and future.
DAY
3
This
morning, we will tour through central Tennessee to Nashville. Upon
arrival in Nashville, we will visit the Hermitage, Andrew Jackson's
stately, historic mansion.
Then it's off
to our spectacular Christmas accommodations.
DAY
4
This
morning, we will tour Nashville, the home of Country Music. Our tour
of this famous city will take us past the homes of some of Country
Music's most famous names, like: Alan Jackson, Dolly Parton, Martina
McBride, Ronnie Dunn & Kix Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, the late
Tammy Wynette, and many more.
Sightseeing
highlights of our tour will be Music Row, the Country Music Hall of
Fame, the Parthenon, the State Capitol, the Ryman Auditorium (the
Old Opry House) and the Governor's Mansion.
This afternoon,
we will enjoy a luncheon cruise on the Cumberland River on the
elegant General Jackson River Boat.
Then, this
evening, to top off our wonderful day, we will take in the show at
the legendary Grand Ole Opry.
DAY
5
After
breakfast, get ready for a chilly holiday adventure as you wonder
through "ICE" (hand carved holiday displays created by more than 2
million pounds of ice)! A special Christmas Eve dinner is planned
for tonight followed by a performance of the famed Radio City
Christmas Spectacular starring the world-famous Rockettes. This
dazzling musical production includes the legendary "Parade of the
Wooden Soldiers" and the "Living Nativity."

6
Merry
Christmas! A relaxing holiday is in store, as later, this morning we
will experience the Treasures of the Holidays, an antique, arts and
crafts fair set in the atmosphere of a small village. Tonight, we
will enjoy a traditional holiday dinner with all the trimmings,
while Pam Tillis and her band perform her favorite Christmas songs
along with some of her top hits!

We will fly
home from Nashville today, with wonderful and colorful memories of
our Christmas in Nashville
