Today
we'll jet to Portland, Oregon, the City of Roses. Upon
arrival, we will tour this fantastic city, viewing the Hoyt Park
Arboretum, the Portland Heights residential area, the International
Rose Test Gardens, the Japanese Garden and the Pitlock Mansion
nestled in the West Hills area of the City.

Tour to the Oregon
Coast

Sightsee Tillamook &
Astoria

Visit Ft. Clatsop National
Park
We will follow the Columbus River, this morning, to
Astoria - named after John Jacob Astor, and home to Ft. Clatsop,
which we will visit. Next, it's on to Tillamook and the
beautiful Oregon Coast.
DAY 3
This morning, we are off to the the state of
Washington, where we will make a stop at the Mt. St. Helens Volcano
Center for a viewing of the presentation about the dramatic eruption
of 1980. Then we will view Mt. St. Helens itself. You
have got to see it to believe it.
Later, we will tour along the Columbia River to Hood
River. Look for colorful sails of the wind surfers, as
this is the wind-surfing capital of the world. Finally, we
will follow the inspiring Columbia River back to
Portland.
Today will be a day of roses, glaciers, alpine meadows,
great rivers, waterfalls, hot springs, and numerous lakes and
streams - truly a scenic extravaganza!
DAY 4
We will travel north through the state of Washington,
today, as we head to the Emerald City - Seattle. One of our
stops will be at the State Capitol in Olympia. Majestic Mt.
Rainer will dominate our views to the east.
In
Seattle, we will see the 605 foot Space Needle, Chinatown, the
University of Washington, Queen Anne Hill, the salmon ladders at the
Chittenden Locks, Seattle Center, the Boeing Airplane Plant, Puget
Sound, Fisherman's Wharf, and much, much more!
DAY 5
We will take a short, but scenic, ferry cruise this
morning to the Olympic Peninsula. Next, we will explore
Olympic National Park as we sightsee Hurricane Ridge. You will
see waterfalls, forests, glaciers and vista beyond
compare.
DAY 6
We will follow scenic Route 101 as we sightsee the
spectacular Olympic Peninsula today. Dotted with Indian
Reservations, toering Sitka Spruce and Douglas Firs (some as high as
a 25 story building), lush carpets of fren and forest flowers,
pristine lakes and rivers, and a rain forest. The Olympic
National Park is truly one of America's treasures. Later, we
will follow the Washington Coastline to Ocean
Shores.
DAY 7

We will return to Portland today for out flight home,
with many fond memories of our Pacific Northwest
Adventure!
