This morning, we will tour
Nashville, the home of Country Music. Our tour of this famous
city will take us past the homes of some of Country Music's
most famous names, like Larry Gatlin, Dolly Parton, Ronnie, Milsap,
and the late Waylon Jennings, Marty Robins, Minnie Pearl, Tammy
Wynette, and Hank Williams, Sr.
A highlight of our tour will be Music
Row where Country Music Hall of Fame, the Country Music Wax Museum,
the Barbara Mandrell Country Museum and many other Music City
attractions are all located. The Parthenon, State Capitol,
Fort Nashboro, Ryman Auditorium, and the Governor's Mansion are a
few of the other interesting spots that we will view as we tour this
lovely city.
Later, we will tour The Hermitage,
Andrew jackson's stately historic mansion.
This evening, we will take in the show
at the legendary Grand Ole Opry.

Today, we will tour
through central Tennessee as we pass through Knoxville enroute to
Pigeon Forge nd Gatlinberg. This afternoon, we will visit
Gatlinberg at the entrance to the Smokies.
Tonight, get ready to "hoot and holler"
at the Dixie Stampede Show, a fun-filled evening of singing,
country-style dining, rodeo and wild-west style competition between
Yankee and Confederate teams!

North Carolina & Gatlinberg, Tennessee

Show
Today, we will travel the
gorgeous Great Smoky Mountain Parkway through America's most visited
National Park. We will visit cherokee, North Carolina which
gets its name from the Indian in the area.
Tonight, we will complete our Great
Smoky Mountain Music Tour as we enjoy the Country Tonight
Show.

Lexington, Kentucky
- Lunch at Daniel
Boone Tavern

We will travel through the
Cumblerland Gap this morning enroute to Kentucky and Lexington, in
the heart of the Bluegrass horse country. Lunch will be at the
historic Daniel Boone Tavern in Berea, Kentucky. Later, we
will have time to visit the many local craft
stores.

Farm
Today will be a
horse-lover's delight as we visit the Kentucky Horse Farm with its
exhibits and shows. You will see numerous breeds put through
their paces as you tour this famous museum dedicated to the story of
all horses dating back to those that powered chariots in ancient
Rome. We will then visit Frankfort, the capital of Kentucky,
where we will see the old and new state Capitols, the Governor's
Mansion.
Then we will sightsee the elegant
Thoroughbred Horse Farms along Versailles Road.

Bardstown and Louisville

This morning we will
travel to historic Bardstown, sight of Stephen Foster's "My Old
Kentucky Home" and numerous Bourbon distilleries. We will
visit the Museum of Bourbon History, which has a display of the
history of distilling. The old bottle collection includes that
of distiller E.C. Booz. After lunch, we will visit the Jim
Beam Bourbon Distillery, where you can see all of the famous Jim
Beam decanters.
We will then tour to Louisville, home of
Churchill Downs, the sight of the Kentucky Derby, before we head
south to Elizabethtown, Kentucky for the
evening.

Home
We wil tour to Nashville,
today, for our flights home. Along the way, we will se Ft.
Knox and Abe Lincoln's birthplace. We return home with many
fond memories of Autumn in Kentucky and
Tennessee!
