DAY 1

  • Fly to the Bay Area
  • Fisherman's Wharf - San Francisco
  • Wine Tasting in Sonoma
  • Embassy Suites Hotel
  • Hosted Happy Hour at Hotel

Today, we'll jet to the Bay area.  Upon arrival, we'll visit the Fisherman Whart area in San Francisco where we'll enjoy lunch on our own.  Next, it's off to Sonoma for a little wine tasting and sightseeing.  You'll love our hotel which is right in Napa!

DAY 2

  • Breakfast
  • Lunch on Napa Valley Wine Train
  • Tour of Napa Valley
  • Hosted Happy Hour

The highlight, today, will be our special ride on the wonderful Napa Valley Wine Train.  You'll enjoy a great lunch as you travel through the vineyards and past the wineries of this famous region.

Next, we'll tour this world famous valley on our motorcoach.  There are literally hundreds of different wineries in the area some very large, some very small.  You'll probably recognize many of them.  We stop at one of them before we head back to our hotel for Happy Hour.

Day 3

  • Breakfast, Dinner
  • Tour of Russian River Valley to Bodega Bay
  • Visita Armstrong Redwoods State Park
  • Hosted Happy Hour

We've got a beautiful day of sightseeing today, as we follow the gorgeous Russian River to the Pacific. We'll even stroll though the redwoods of Armstrong Redwoods State Park.

We'll also visit the famous Korbel Winery, for a wine tasting, and view the Pacific Ocean at Bodega Bay.

Day 4

  • Breakfast, Dinner
  • Tour to Monterey
  • Rosie the Riveter Museum
  • John Steinbeck Museum
  • Mariposa Inn

We start our eclectic day, this morning, as we visit the Rosie the Riveter Museum, which is dedicated to the epic effort at home to support World War II.  Next, it's on to the John Steinbeck Museum in Salinas.  Although small, it is extremely interesting when we consider just how prolific this genius was.

Day 5

  • Continental Breakfast, Dinner
  • Monterey Bay Aquarium
  • Pacific Grove Natural History Museum

We'll enjoy the magnificent Monterey Peninsula as we tour and visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium which is one of the finest in the world.  It is like no otter!  In Pacific Grove, we'll visit the Natural History Museum, which is dedicated to the indigenous flora and fauna.  Later, you'll love a little time to shop on Ocean Boulevard in quaint Carmel.

Dinner, tonight, will be on Fisherman's Wharf.

Day 6

  • Continental Breakfast
  • Winchester House
  • Fly Home

We've left some great sightseeing for this last day as we visit the unique Winchester House in San Jose and the Silicon Valley.

Later, we will reluctantly fly home with many fond memories of the Bay Area, Wine Country, the Bodega Coast and Monterey!!!
