We'll travel through the fertile San
Joaquin Valley today as we tour to Merced. One of our stops
will be the Simonian Farms where we can pick up some goodies for the
trip and for when we get home. Wait 'til you see their
collection of antique farm equipment.
Day 2

- Tour to
Sacramento & Carson City
- Gold Dust West
Casino & Hotel
We visit Sacramento this morning as we
view our State Capitol, the Old Governor's Mansion, the Poney
Express Statue, the Leland Stanford Mansion and so much more.
Lunch will be on our own in Old Sacramento. Next, it's on to
Carson City (weather permitting) via Placervill and South Lake
Tahoe.

3

Thanksgiving Lunch
- Tour around Lake
Tahoe
Today, we'll tour around Lake Tahoe
where we'll enjoy our Thanksgiving Feast. First, though, we
will stop for pictures at Nevada's State
Capitol.
Day
4
- Breakfast
- Tour to Southern
California
We'll return home today along scenic
Highway 395. Stops will be made at Mono Lake, and of course,
Schat's Bakery in Bishop. We might get a glimpse of Mt.
Whitney, towering over the High Sierras.
