We will fly to lovely
Spokane, Washington, today. Next, we'll take a short tour to
beautiful Coeur d'Alene and then on to Kellogg for the
evening.
DAY 2
- Breakfast,
Dinner
- Tour of the British
Columbia Rockies
- Radium
Resort
We'll tour north, today, through Sandpoint
and on into the British Columbia Rockies. While not as famous
as the mountains in Alberta, brace yourself for some spectacular
scenery as we view Alpine-like peaks, pristine lakes, wonderfull
waterfalls, scenic ski resorts and rejuvenating hot
springs.
It doesn't get much better than this!
At least until tomorrow.
DAY 3
- Breakfast
- Tour through the
Rockies to Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, & Banff
- Bow View
Lodge
We'll view the peaks, valleys, lakes and
glaciers of Kootenay, and Banff National Parks. Moraine Lake
is so spectacular that it was featured for years on the Canadian $5
bill. Lake Louise is world famous for its setting next to the
Victoria Glacier.
Our hotel in Banff is only steps from the
downtown area and right across the street from the Bow
River.
DAY 4
- Banff/Jasper Highway
Tour
Today we'll tour one of the most famous
highways in the world, the Banff/Jasper Highway.
Along the way, we'll see over 30 glaciers
including the Athabasca Glacier in the Columbia Icefields, Peyto
Lake, Athabasca Falls, Pyramid and Patricia Lakes and so much
more.
This will be a full but wonderous
day.
DAY 5
- Dinner
- Tour to Calgary,
Waterton National Park & Lethbridge
- Lethbridge

We leave Banff this morning, and drive past
cattle ranches, oil wells, and the beautiful yellow fields of grape
seed enroute to Calgary, home of the Calgary
Stampede.
Upon arrival, we will take a tour of this
exciting city. One of the highlights of the day will include
the spectacular indoor Devonian Gardens in the heart of
downtown.
Later, we'll drive on to Waterton Lakes
National Park, the Canadian side of Glacier National Park.
Wait 'til you see the unique Prince of Wales Hotel...one of a
kind!
DAY 6
- Breakfast,
Dinner
- Glacier National
Park
- Hampton Inn -
Kalispell
We'll cross the border back into the States,
this morning, and enter Glacier National Park on its east
side. A highlight of the day will be the tour through the park
on the Going to the Sun Highway... an experience that you'll never
forget.
DAY 7
We'll be returning home, today, with a
collage of memories of the sights, sounds, and experiences of the
Wonders of the
Rockies.
